A multi-vehicle crash has forced authorities to shut down all but one lane of Interstate 24 eastbound.

At least eight vehicles are involved, including a tractor-trailer. One vehicle caught fire.

The crash was reported at 1:40 p.m. and is expected to be cleared by 4 p.m., according to the Tennessee Department of Transportation.

It's unclear whether anyone has been seriously injured or killed.
