Dalton police investigators are looking for a woman.
According to a release from the department, 34-year old Stacy Griggs Leadingham lives in West Virginia but visited the North Georgia city around Memorial Day. Some friends in town have reported her missing.
On May 28, according to the release, Leadingham stayed at the Motel 6 on Chattanooga Road. Clerks there say she checked out the next day.
Her friends told police they have not seen her since May 29. She is 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs about 130 pounds. She has blonde hair and blue eyes.
