Two students have been identified as among the parties responsible for a threatening note found Monday morning at Dalton High School, according to the Dalton Police Department.

Police spokesman Bruce Frazier said two teenage males have been interviewed and are cooperating with the investigation. He said no charges have been filed at this point but the investigation is ongoing and charges are possible.

The note was found on the floor of a classroom by another student, who turned it in to school officials. They called police.

The note appears to be a written conversation between at least two individuals and includes language that speaks of guns and shootings at the school with the word "tomorrow."

On Tuesday, the Dalton Police Department had a heavy presence at the school and no problems occurred. Investigators have been working since Monday to identify the parties responsible for the note.
