A man is receiving treatment at a local hospital after being shot Thursday morning on the 1300 block of Sholar Ave., according to a release from Chattanooga police.
Jermichael Baker, 29, suffered non-life-threatening injuries after someone shot him from a vehicle that pulled up where he was walking.
Members of the violent crimes bureau are actively investigating this incident.
