The Dallas Bay Volunteer Fire Department responded to a report of a house fire Monday afternoon and extinguished flames in two rooms of the home, according to a news release.
At 4:50 p.m. a 9-1-1 call came in about the house at 1701 Apple St. No one was home at the time of the blaze.
Hamilton County Emergency Medical Services personnel were on the scene for potential injuries to the firefighters.
The cause of the fire is undetermined and is being investigated by the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office, according to the news release.
