Chattanooga woman charged with attempted murder after allegedly running over ex with SUV

A Chattanooga woman has been charged with attempted first-degree murder after she allegedly ran over her ex-boyfriend with an SUV.

Police first responded to a report of a pedestrian struck on the 600 block of W 12th Street on Oct. 22 around 4 a.m. and found the victim lying in the grass, according to court documents.

He was transported to Erlanger where he told police he was outside with his ex-girlfriend, Alexus Thrasher, when he was run over, although he couldn't recount clearly how it happened.

A witness stated the victim and Thrasher were in an arguing before the incident and Thrasher was the driver who hit him.

Video footage showed the white SUV leave a parking space, drive onto the grass and run over the victim.
