Chattanooga police searching for missing 13-year-old girl

Chattanooga police are searching for a missing 13-year-old girl who is considered an endangered runaway.

Kyamei Erwin was last seen on Wednesday, Oct. 4 at 3 a.m. before she left her home with her Chihuahua puppy.

Erwin took a violin case, large duffle bag on wheels, and teal color backpack with yellow stitching with a turquoise Aeropostale hoodie tied to it when she left. She is possibly wearing black tights, black tennis shoes and unknown shirt, according to a release from the Chattanooga Police Department.

Police say Erwin has been communicating with Joshua Able, an adult male who might be traveling from Virginia to Chattanooga.
