UPDATE: Man charged with kidnapping his estranged wife and 2 children

UPDATE: Douglas Turner is charged with three counts of kidnapping for abducting his estranged wife, Jennifer Turner, and his 9-year-old and 3-month old children.

LaFayette Police Officer Mason Brewer found the family in a local hotel. In addition to Brewer, members of the Walker County Sheriff's Office and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation are working this case.

UPDATE: The Turner children and their mother, Jennifer Turner, have been found at a Lafayette, Ga., area motel. The mother and children appear to be unharmed, according to Walker County Sheriff Steve Wilson.

The suspect Douglas Turner was also located at the same motel and has been arrested and taken to the Walker County Jail for questioning.

The case is being worked by the Lafayette Police Department, Walker County Sheriff's Office and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

ORIGINAL STORY: A Levi's Call, Georgia's equivalent of an Amber Alert, has been issued on behalf of the Walker County Sheriff's Office for Elizabeth Faith Turner, 9, and 3-month-old Hanna Nicole Turner.

They were last seen Thursday, Oct 5., Walker County, Ga.

The suspected abductor is Douglas Steven Turner, 36. He is described as white with brown hair and eyes, 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds.

They may be traveling in a light blue 1991 Chevy Astro van with Georgia license plate No. RCY9381.
