A multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 24 left two people in critical condition after a motorcycle crashed into a tractor trailer.

A motorcycle was traveling eastbound on I-24 when it merged into the adjacent lane occupied by a tractor trailer and made contact.

The motorcycle went down and the rider and passenger, Audrey Snider, 46, and Stacy Hanson, 40, respectively, landed on the asphalt.

The driver of a third vehicle was unable to avoid Snider while she was on the ground and struck her. Both Snider and Hanson were transported to a local hospital by Hamilton County EMS.

They are in critical condition.

The driver of the third vehicle, Aleksandr Brown, 22, didn't have any reported injuries.

There is no information on the tractor trailer or its driver at this time.
