ORIGINAL STORY: A jack-knifed tractor trailer has shut down Interstate 75 northbound Monday night at the Interstate 24 split at exit 2 near East Ridge, according to the Tennessee Department of Transportation's Smartway website.
Northbound traffic is affected with roadway closed. Southbound traffic is affected with no delays.
The crash was reported about 9 p.m. it is unclear when it will be cleared. Motorists are encouraged to take an alternate route.
