A 21-year-old man was shot Tuesday afternoon on Pinewood Avenue, according to a news release from the Chattanooga Police Department.
Police responded to a local hospital on reports of a patient, DeArius Moore, suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
After interviewing the victim, investigators were able to establish that the shooting occurred about 12:15 pm. on the 3300 block of Pinewood Avenue.
Members of the Violent Crime Bureau are investigating this incident.
