HCSO Seeks Assistance in Identifying Assault Suspect

Can you help us identify any of these people? The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the community’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an assault that took place on July 15th at the Island Oasis located at 5518 Highway 60. The incident involves several parties and an assault on an employee of the business.

The suspect wanted in connection with the July 15 assault of an employee at the Island Oasis on Highway 60 has been arrested Thursday, according to the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office.

Devin Lee Gartin is charged with assault and was booked into the Hamilton County Jail on a $1,500 bond. No other people involved in the incident have been charged.

Gartin was identified within about three hours of surveillance footage from the business was posted on the HCSO Facebook page and submitted to the local media.
