Suspect identified in fatal Arlington Avenue shooting named to TBI most wanted list

Chattanooga police are asking the public for help in locating the suspect involved in the July 18 fatal shooting of Cortez Alford in the 1100 block of Arlington Avenue.

The suspect, Oshea Arkeith Williams, 23, faces criminal homicide, felony reckless endangerment and possession of a firearm during a dangerous felony, according to a news release.

He is believed to be in the Detroit, Michigan area, the news release states.

He has been placed on the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation's Top 10 Most Wanted list and is believed to be in the Detroit, Michigan area, the news release states.

Williams is a black male who is 5'7" in height and weighs approximately 165 lbs. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

Chattanooga police are working with the U.S. Marshals Service and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation to locate Williams.
