A woman was arrested Tuesday after DeKalb County, Alabama, sheriff's deputies found drugs and drug paraphernalia in her vehicle during a traffic stop.
Patti Kim Murphy, 61, is charged with trafficking an illegal drug and drug paraphernalia, according to a news release.
Murphy was pulled over for a traffic violation. She seemed nervous, the news release states, so the deputy asked her if she had any illegal drugs or weapons inside. She said no.
But when an Albertville police officer arrived with his K-9 arrived, the K-9 detected something on the driver's side door.
The vehicle was searched, and authorities found approximately 113 grams of methamphetamine and a syringe.
