Erlanger officials have announced that the Children's Hospital at Erlanger's new Children's Outpatient Center has received a donation of $5 million, the largest donation in the hospital's history.

The donation was made by the Kennedy Foundation in honor of Jim Kennedy Jr.'s daughter, Molly Kennedy, who was born three month premature at the hospital in 1958. She spoke at the ceremony announcing the donation Friday.
