A man is facing after police say he stoled a Chattanooga Public Works vehicle.
On Saturday, Cleveland police were contacted by authorities in Chattanooga, who said a vehicle stolen from the Chattanooga Public Works department had been tracked by GPS to Cleveland, Tennessee, according to a news release.
Cleveland police went to the tracked location at 3230 Fulbright Road #6 and detained a man as he was leaving an apartment.
During a search of the suspect, identified as Evan Elmore, police found a bag that appeared to contain marijuana.
Elmore was arrested and charged with simple possession.
Charges are pending in Chattanooga for the vehicle theft and burglary of a business.
