A local restaurant has reopened for business after a breakout of illness forced it to close earlier this month.
In a Facebook post Saturday, the owners of River Drifters Bar & Grill, located on Suck Creek Road, said the business has received a perfect score on its health inspection and is welcoming guests back.
Earlier this month, more than 100 people became ill with norovirus or E. Coli, which was blamed on a collapsed water well.
A lawsuit has been filed by one woman after she said she was hospitalized after eating at the restaurant.
