Dalton, Ga., police searching for woman who allegedly tried to use stolen credit cards

The Dalton Police Department is looking for a woman who tried to use stolen credit cards to buy two TVs at the Walmart on Shugart Rd., according to a news release.

On Friday, Jan. 26, the victim in the case realized she had lost her wallet at some point while running errands. Shortly after, she was contacted by both Discover and Capital One informing her that two of her credit cards had been used in an attempt to buy two large flat screen televisions.

Both transactions were declined by the credit card companies, according to the release.

Images of the suspect were found when a Dalton detective retrieved video of the transactions. The suspect is a white woman who was wearing jeans, a black Harley Davidson t-shirt and a baseball cap that appears to be dark green or camouflage.
