An 18-year-old female high school student has been arrested after allegedly writing a threat to kill classmates at Dade County High School in Trenton, Ga., on Tuesday.

Lexus Couch, of Rising Fawn, Ga., is charged with terroristic threats and acts - a felony - and disrupting public school. She is being held at the Dade County Jail, according to a news release.

The high school's principal notified the Dade County Sheriff's Office that someone had written "f-- this school, im killing all of you 2morrow" on a bathroom wall inside the high school.

School administrators investigated the incident and determined who the suspect was based on video surveillance and witnesses. They then provided the sheriff's office with statements, photographs, video and the suspect's identity.

Couch was immediately suspended from school.

The sheriff's office takes these types of threats very seriously, the news release states. "These types of incidents will be prosecuted to the fullest extent that Georgia law allows."
