A Chattanooga police officer was hurt Thursday night about 7 p.m. when his vehicle crashed on the 400 block of Greenway View Drive in the Brainerd area, police spokeswoman Elisa Myzal said.
The officer's injuries are not life-threatening, she said.
The officer was responding to an emergency call, and as he attempted to maneuver through the curves on Greenway View Drive, his vehicle's tire struck a curb. The vehicle went off the roadway and struck a tree.
It wasn't clear how much damage the vehicle sustained.
