Two recovering from gunshot wounds after being shot on Lillian Lane in Chattanooga

Chattanooga police are investigating a shooting in the 1400 block of Lillian Lane that left two people with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds early on Sunday.

The two victims showed up at a local hospital for treatment of the wounds around 4:39 a.m. today. They was transported by a personal vehicle and have been identified as 23-year-old Ivy Johnson and 26-year-old Cordarrius Johnson, according to a news released from Chattanooga Police Department spokeswoman Elisa Myzal.

The pair told police they were sitting in a parked vehicle when they were shot by an unknown suspect, Myzal said.

Members of the Violent Crimes Bureau are investigating this incident and following all leads. Anyone with information regarding this incident should call 423-698-2525. The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when available, officials said.
