OK, friends, you know the deal around these parts. We do a 5-at-10, rain or shine, snow or glow, every Monday-through-Friday whether we are in town, out of town, or just plain kowtowed.

We are out of the 423. We will be back after the 4th.

That means a quick 5-at-10 because, well, like our parents always told us, because I said so.

From the satellite office on Lake Martin, Ala., let's roll.

Weekend winner: CNN for refusing to name the madman gunman that shot up the Annapolis newsroom last week. We have used this theory ourselves, and have never written the name of the July 16 murderer here in Chattanooga. Here's hoping this becomes standard operating procedure.

Weekend loser: Loads of options here, but we will go with the Cleveland Cavaliers. No LeBron James means no interest whatsoever. (That said, the Cavs did have the foresight to make everyone with season tickets that were floor seats to sign a three-year commitment.)

Weekend loser, part II: The World Cup in these United States. No U.S. team. No Germany (aka the defending champ). No more Messi. No more Ronaldo. No more viewers.

LeBron

Of course, even on a little vacation, we must address King James.

We will starter here: I wanted him to stay in Cleveland.I wanted him to bring another one home.

That did not happen, and with the news that Paul George re-upped with the Thunder, he's not coming to L.A. either.

But what about this theory: Who all could be coming to the Lakers in 2019? KLay or KD? Boogie and almost assuredly Kawhi.

Either way, the next moves will be fascinating.

photo Tiger Woods hits out of a bunker on the 11th hole at TPC Potomac at Avenel during Friday's second round of the Quicken Loans National. Woods shot a 5-under 65 and was tied for 11th, four shots behind co-leaders Ryan Armour, Bryan Gay and Beau Hossler.

Man, want to talk about a scumbum, here's a story about identity theft that should end in the death penalty. https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/united-states-oldest-living-man-robbed-entire-bank-account-173742121.html

If we had to list Tiger Woods a winner or a loser this weekend, we'd look hard for a third option. Yes, Woods dropped a 66 Sunday. Yes, he finished top five. But take a quick look at that leaderboard, and we all know there are more there are more familiar names at the Signal Mountain Invitational.

We have not seen the numbers ofor DAle Jr.'s broadcast debute, but if you have thiughts on Dale's first spin, please share.
