TARRANT, Ala. (AP) - An Alabama man has been charged in the shooting death of a 16-year-old boy.
Tarrant Police Cpl. Jay Jenkins tells AL.com that Nathaniel Holder was shot in a vehicle Sunday after what police believe was an argument. Twenty-five-year-old Hakeem Gamble was arrested around four hours later.
Holder was taken to a hospital for surgery, but was removed from life support Monday afternoon.
Authorities say Holder and Gamble knew each other. The cause of the disagreement is still under investigation.
Holder's death was the first homicide in Tarrant this year.
It's unclear whether Gamble has a lawyer.
