UPDATE: The East Ridge Police Department has made an arrest in the Friday morning shooting on South Seminole Drive.
Collin Macheel, 19, has been charged with aggravated assault in the shooting.
The victim, Brandon Chase Summey, was treated and released from Erlanger earlier Friday.
This investigation is ongoing.

ORIGINAL STORY: East Ridge police say a person was injured early Friday in a shooting on South Seminole Drive.
Police responding to a call just after 5 a.m. found the victim with multiple gunshot wounds in the stomach and leg. The person was transported to Erlanger.
According to preliminary information, police say the shooting happened in the basement of the home, located at 1107 S. Seminole Dr.
A suspect has been detained for questioning.
Investigators are processing the scene and interviewing everyone that was in the home during the incident.
