Chattanooga police are investigating a shooting that sent a man to the hospital Monday afternoon.
Police were called to a local hospital for a person who was being treated for a non-life-threatening injury.
The victim, 22-year-old Javoris Akins, said he was transported to the hospital via a personally owned vehicle.
The victim sent police to the 3500 block of 4th Ave. to locate a crime scene.
