Chattanooga police arrest 7 on drug charges after searching Museum Street homes

Seven men were arrested on drug charges after law enforcement searched two homes in the 2000 block of Museum Street last week.

In one home, Chattanooga police arrested six men after finding more than 400 grams of marijuana, ecstasy pills, a stolen pistol and $2,469 in cash, according to a news release.

While conducting that search, police saw marijuana plants at a nearby home in the same block of Museum Street and arrested another man.

At that house, officers found 139 marijuana plants, 945 grams of marijuana and three firearms.

All seven men were taken into custody without incident.

At first location:

  • Crammel Oates, 34: Possession of marijuana for resale, drug paraphernalia
  • Marlin Oates, 41: Possession of marijuana for resale, drug paraphernalia
  • Lorenzo McMillon, 48: Possession of marijuana for resale, drug paraphernalia
  • Latravious Whetstone, 19: Possession of marijuana for resale, drug paraphernalia
  • Gregory Hollins, 39, a known gang member: Possession of marijuana for resale, drug paraphernalia, possession of ecstasy
  • Kasey Knox, 42: Possession of marijuana for resale, drug paraphernalia and outstanding warrant

At second location:

  • Earnest Ross, 68: Possession of marijuana for resale, drug paraphernalia, manufacturing marijuana and possession of a firearm
