The Chattanooga Department of Transportation announced Tuesday night a number of street closures around the downtown area:
- East Third Street between Market Street and Cherry Street will be closed from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., Wednesday through Friday. Detour will be posted.
- Market Street between East Sixth Street and East Seventh Street will be closed from 11 p.m. Wednesday to 2 a.m. Thursday. Detour will be posted.
- Washington Street between Main Street and East 16th Street will be closed from Wednesday through Friday for utility work. Detour will be posted.
- South Holtzclaw Avenue between East 13th Street and East 14th Street will be closed from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Saturday for crane work. Detour will be posted.
- Lindsay Street between McCallie Avenue and East Eighth Street will be closed from 9 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, June 5, for utility work. Detour will be posted.
