The Bradley County Sheriff's Office is offering a $1,000 reward as the search for two "armed and dangerous" teens continues into its third day.

The reward will be for information leading to the capture of 16-year-olds Abraham Augustin and Memphis Smith.

Both juveniles escaped from the Bradley County Juvenile Detention Center shortly before 8 p.m. on Friday.

The pair "stole a vehicle shortly after fleeing and were last seen heading southbound on Dalton Pike in southern Bradley County," according to a news release.

The car was recovered by Chattanooga police in the Hamilton Place Mall parking lot on Saturday afternoon. Bradley County sheriff's detectives processed the vehicle, and it's since been returned to the owner.

Both Augustin and Smith were also spotted on surveillance footage inside the mall's food court area that Saturday afternoon, according to Chattanooga police spokeswoman Elisa Myzal.

Bradley County sheriff's spokesman Adam Lewis said the agency focused its efforts in that area, but no substantial leads were made.

"Unfortunately they could be anywhere," he said in a text message.
