Starting Tuesday, West 13th Street will be closed between Market and Cowart streets as part of a project to install an underground electrical conduit, Chattanooga's transportation department said in a news release.
On Thursday, southbound traffic on Market Street will be moved into one northbound lane, and northbound traffic will be squeezed into a single lane, so work can take place in the southbound lane. King Street will be open for northbound right-turn traffic.
West 13th Street will be closed for the duration of the project, which is estimated to take 3-4 weeks.
