Tiny quake strikes north of Graysville, Tenn.

A very small earthquake just north of Graysville, Tennessee, on Saturday probably went unnoticed at magnitude 1.9.

The U.S. Geological Survey reported the tiny quake centered about 1,000 feet west of Cranmore Cove Road in Rhea County between Graysville and Dayton struck about 4:30 a.m. Saturday.

It was almost 12 miles beneath the surface of the earth, USGS reported.
