UPDATE: Walker County Schools Superintendent Damon Raines further clarified in a text message to the Times Free Press.

"There were 5 students complaining of injuries; 2 elementary students went on to school and saw the nurse and were given Tylenol with parent permission," he wrote. "Three high school students were taken from the scene by parents. EMT's saw all five but reported no injuries."

A Georgia State Patrol spokesman said nobody involved in the school bus crash this morning went to the hospital.

According to the agency, 18-year-old Seth Garrison Cline rear-ended the bus as they both drove east on Happy Valley Road. There were five passengers on the bus, and some complained of minor injuries.

Georgia State Patrol charged Cline with failing to exercise due care.

Walker County Sheriff Steve Wilson said Cline, who drove a 2000 Land Rover Discovery, told investigators that the sun was in his eyes this morning. He didn't realize how close he was to the bus until it was too late.

"There were four or five students rattled or shaken up, maybe unnerved," Wilson said. "But there were no physical injuries."

The bus driver was David Nelson Mullens, 65, of Chickamauga.
