KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia - Marc Leishman won the CIMB Classic by five strokes Sunday, closing with a 7-under-par 65 to match the tournament-record overall score of 26-under 262.

Justin Thomas set that mark in 2015.

The fourth victory of Leishman's PGA Tour career came in an event co-sanctioned by the Asian Tour. The 34-year-old Australian's closing round featured eight birdies with one bogey on the West Course at TPC Kuala Lumpur.

Bronson Burgoon had a 68 to tie for second with Emiliano Grillo (66) and Chesson Hadley (66). Thomas closed with a 64 to tie for fifth with Abraham Ancer (65), Charles Howell (67), Louis Oosthuizen (69) and Gary Woodland (71) at 20 under.

Baylor School graduate Keith Mitchell (66) tied for 22nd at 16 under, earning $71,120 and 39 points in the FedEx Cup standings with his first start of the 2018-19 season.

Two Masters?

WALTON HEATH, England - Eddie Pepperell won the British Masters at cold and stormy Walton Heath Golf Club, likely securing a spot in 2019's first major - the Masters at Augusta National Golf Club in April.

The 27-year-old Englishman's final round of par 72 on the Old Course outside of London put him at 9-under 279 overall, two strokes ahead of Sweden's Alexander Bjork (71). It's his second European Tour win, with the first coming at the Qatar Masters last February.

Pepperell will move into the top 35 in the World Golf Ranking, and the top 50 at the end of the year will receive invitations to Augusta.

Lucas Herbert (69) and Jordan Smith (73) tied for third at 283.

Chun by three

INCHEON, South Korea - In Gee Chun won the LPGA KEB Hana Bank Championship, closing with a 5-under 66 for a three-stroke victory over Charley Hull.

Chun won for the third time on the LPGA Tour, finishing at 16-under 272 on the Ocean Course at Sky 72 Golf Club. The 24-year-old South Korean star's previous victories came in majors - the 2015 U.S. Women's Open and The Evian Championship in 2016.

England's Hull closed with a 71. Top-ranked Sung Hyun Park had a 69 to tie for third with second-ranked Ariya Jutanugarn (71), Danielle Kang (72) and Minjee Lee (70) at 12 under.

It's Langer again

Langer shot a bogey-free 7-under 65 for a six-stroke victory in the regular-season finale. The 61-year-old German star has 38 victories on the 50-and-older tour.

Langer finished at 22-under 194 in the 54-hole event for his second victory at Prestonwood Country Club.

Scott Parel (65) was second, with Jerry Kelly (68) third at 15 under and Tom Lehman (71) fourth at 12 under.
