A Crandall, Georgia, man is facing multiple charges in connection with a high-speed police pursuit Wednesday that ended in Bradley County, Tennessee, with a crash involving four sheriff's office patrol cars.

Randall Wade Cooper, 58, is charged with four counts of aggravated assault, evading arrest, resisting arrest, theft over $1,000, driving on a suspended license, misuse of vehicle registration and failure to maintain no passing zone, according to sheriff's office spokesman Adam Lewis.

The theft charge is related to a reportedly stolen truck Cooper was driving in the pursuit, he said.

Lewis said the Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating the crash portion of the incident.
