UPDATE: A pedestrian woman who was fatally struck Wednesday night near the 14800 block of Dayton Pike was struck by two vehicles.
One vehicle was going south and the other was going north, as they struck the woman. Both drivers stopped and have been cooperating with law enforcement officials.
The HCSO is not releasing the name of the victim until the next-of-kin has been notified.
This incident remains under investigation.
ORIGINAL STORY: A pedestrian was struck and killed on Dayton Pike Wednesday night, according to a news release from the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office,
The adult, whose name has not been released pending notification of next-of-kin, was pronounced dead by Hamilton County Emergency Services personnel around 7:30 p.m., the release states.
The incident is currently under investigation.
