A contract electrician died Monday when he apparently stumbled and fell backward off the roof of the six-story Mary Wilson Hall on the campus of Tennessee State University in Nashville, a news release states.
The incident occurred about 12:20 p.m., and other workers some 40-50 feet away from victim Richard Bray reported hearing someone yell.
Bray, 55, of Nashville, was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he died on arrival, according to the release from the school's media relations department.
