Whitfield County store sells $12.5 million Jumbo Bucks Lotto ticket

A convenience store in Cohutta, Georgia in Whitfield County sold a $12.5 million jackpot Jumbo Bucks Lotto ticket Thursday, according to a news release from the Georgia Lottery Corp.

The One Stop Shop at 5414 Cleveland Highway sold the ticket, which had the winning numbers 15-25-34-40-43-46.

No winner has come forward in the Georgia-only game, but they have 180 days from the drawing date to collect their prize.

The jackpot for the Sept. 6 Jumbo Bucks Lotto drawing is estimated at $1.1 million.

All Georgia Lottery profits pay for specific educational programs, including Georgia's HOPE Scholarship program and Georgia's Pre-K program, the release states. More than 1.8 million students have received HOPE funds, and more than 1.6 million 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
