A fire late Thursday that damaged a Chattanooga home is under investigation.
Chattanooga firefighters responded to a call at 2597 E. 40th St. just after 11 p.m., according to a news release. Battalion Chief Chris Warren said heavy fire was showing on the front of the house when the first firefighters arrived. All of the occupants got out of the house without injury.
Warren said the fire was brought under control in 15 minutes.
The fire caused significant damage to the home, although the extent is not know at this time.
