The Running of the Chihuahuas will feature its biggest and strongest musical lineup Madison Beer, Fletcher, Drax Project, Livvia, MKTO and NOTD, according to organizer Brad Steiner of WDOD-FM 96.5, the events producer.

"Our little event has gotten the attention of so many around the country that artists are calling and asking us to perform," Steiner said.

"We can't believe we put together a lineup this big and diverse."

This will be the 12th year for the event, with the performances starting at 3 p.m. Past performers have included Rachel Platten, Aaron Carter, Hot Chelle Rae, Bryce Vine, and dozens more.

Madison Beer is an international superstar with more than 12 million Instagram followers and multiple hits over her short career that began when Justin Bieber noticed her YouTube channel as a teenager in 2012.

Fletcher is an overnight sensation with a debut single, "Undrunk," which is currently in the top 15 of the Top 40 chart.

Drax Project, a recent addition to the Bonnaroo lineup, will become artist who has traveled the farthest to participant in the Running of the Chihuahuas, when he travels from New Zealand, bringing with him a Top 30 hit, "Woke Up Late." Livvia and MKTO become the second and third artists, respectively, to make a return to the Running of the Chihuahuas stage with Swedish band NOTD making their debut appearance and one of their first North American radio shows.

"We are honored that Madison Beer and Fletcher will be part of our growing history of bringing major stars to town," Steiner said.

"We are even more excited to continue to break artists to the city like Drax Project, MKTO, NOTD and one of our best friends, Livvia!"

The Running of the Chihuahuas features over 150 racing chihuahuas, musical performances, kids area, and more for free starting at 2 p.m. Added to this years event will be an on-site only giveaway for an exclusive showcase with a Hits 96 artist that will be announced in the coming days.

Spectators and press are encouraged to participate, for free, starting at 2 p.m. at the First Tennessee Pavilion. Music begins at 3 p.m. and racing begins, tentatively, at 6 p.m.
