Tamekia Nicole Postell was arrested Monday morning in New Orleans, according to a Twitter post from the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office.
She will be extradited back to Tennessee to face charges of attempted first-degree murder and aggravated assault in Chattanooga, the post states.
She had been sought by Chattanooga police for a June 2018 attack that left a man in a coma. She was added to the sheriffs most wanted list on April 1.
Also accused in the case is Ervin Moore. The 38-year-old was arrested March 29 and is also charged with attempted first-degree murder and aggravated assault.
