Inmate at Hamilton County Jail taken into custody by ICE

The TBI is investigating an officer-involved shooting in Cookeville.

Edgar Vasquez Diaz was taken into custody Thursday morning by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) authorities at the Hamilton County Jail at 8:30 a.m.
