A single-vehicle crash early Monday involving a 2006 Infinity and a horse claimed the life of a 28-year-old Jackson County, Alabama, man.
Aaron Wayne West was not wearing a seat belt when his vehicle collided with a horse, left the road and overturned, according to a news release from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency. West was ejected from his car. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident was reported at 4:10 a.m. Monday and happened on Jackson County Road 92 about a mile east of Higdon, officials said.
Troopers are continuing to investigate.
