Million-dollar Powerball winning ticket sold in South Pittsburg

NASHVILLE - It's a seven-figure win for a lucky Tennessee Lottery player in South Pittsburg, who won $1 million Wednesday night playing Powerball. The player matched five white ball numbers drawn to win the prize, according to a news release.

This is the 276th ticket sold worth $1 million or more since the Tennessee Education Lottery began on Jan. 20, 2004.

No additional information is available until the prize is claimed.
