A 43-year-old man was shot early Saturday morning after a verbal argument with another man, according to Chattanooga police.
Police responded to a call of a person shot on the 1200 block of Poplar Street Court around 2:55 a.m. Saturday, a release states.
When they arrived, police found the man outside of a residence who was then transported to a local hospital. His injuries are non-life-threatening, according to medical personnel.
Police then located a crime scene in the 1200 block of Cypress Street Court. The release states the man said he was shot by the other man/suspect during the argument but no details were given on what the argument was about.
