NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- A Tennessee man is accused of dragging his child by her hair and beating her for not cleaning the kitchen table.
News outlets report Nashville metro police say 40-year-old Douglas Wymer was arrested and charged Wednesday with child abuse in the September attack. WZTV-TV reports an arrest affidavit says Wymer was angry about the table so dragged her from the kitchen to the bathroom where he "repeatedly punched and kicked her."
It's unclear whether Wymer has an attorney. Authorities didn't immediately release details about the girl, including her age and who's taking care of her now.
