Man shot early Sunday morning; Victim unwilling to help investigators, police say

A 31-year-old man was shot early Sunday morning but was unwilling to provide investigators with information, according to a release from a Chattanooga Police Department spokesman.

The man was shot multiple times shortly before 5:30 a.m. in the 5200 block of Woodland View Circle.

He told investigators a man pointed a gun at him, so he ran away, according to the release. He was then shot while fleeing, he said. He was unwilling to assist with the investigation, according to the release.
