Multiple accidents reported in Chattanooga area during rainy Monday morning

Several accidents have been reported during a rainy start to the week in Chattanooga, according to the Hamilton County active incidents website.

An embankment at Hixson Pike and Williams Street caused a vehicle to turn on its side. An entrapment was also reported on the 4700 block of Hixson Pike and at the 500 block of Ochs Highway.

Four crashes were reported on I-75 northbound from shortly before 9 a.m. until just after 10 a.m.: in the area of exit 3B and 4, at exit 7 and 7B, at exit 2 and 185B and around exit 3A and 185B.

A crash was also reported at the 6000 block of Shallowford Road.

* 5000 block of Edgmon Road (10:52 a.m.)

* Intersection of Vincent Road and Harrison Pike (11:11 a.m.)

* Intersection of Dallas Road and Meroney Street (11:11 a.m.)

* 3900 block of Hixson Pike (11:23 a.m.)

* 2000 block of Hamilton Place Boulevard (11:39 a.m.)

* 1300 block of Spring Creek Road (11:52 a.m.)

* Intersection of North Access Road and Hixson Pike (12:05 p.m.)
