Chattanooga police investigating Monday shooting death of 19-year-old woman

Chattanooga police are investigating after a 19-year-old woman was shot and killed early Monday.

Responding to a shots-fired call around 12:53 a.m. in the 7600 block of Standifer Gap Road, police arrived and found the victim with multiple gunshot wounds, according to a news release.

The woman, identified as Quintasia Tate, was transported to a local hospital where she died from her injuries.

No further information has been released.
