Several school districts in Chattanooga area closing, delaying opening Thursday, Feb. 21

Several school districts in the greater Chattanooga area will be closed or open on a delay Thursday because of the inclement weather and illness.

Bradley County, Cleveland City, Meigs County and Polk County schools will open on a two-hour delay on Thursday, Feb. 21, because of weather conditions, according to a news release and Facebook posts.

Rhea County Schools will be closed Thursday-Friday, Feb. 21-22, because of the increased number of illness combined with weather related issues, according to its their Facebook page.

McMinn County Schools will be closed on Thursday, Feb. 21, due to inclement weather, according to its Facebook page.

Bledsoe County and Van Buren County schools will also be closed on Thursday, Feb. 21, according to our news partner WRCB.
