Several school districts across the Tennessee Valley will be closed or delay opening Friday, Feb. 22, because of heavy rains and the threat of flooding.

Hamilton County Schools will be closed Friday, Feb 22.

Bradley County and Cleveland City Schools will be closed Friday, Feb. 22, according to our news partner WRCB.

An increased amount of illnesses was also cited as a cause for one of the closings.
