A passenger was killed in a fatal crash near the intersection of Glenwood Drive and Oak Street Thursday night.
A Chevrolet S10 Blazer was traveling north on Glenwood Drive and a Chevrolet Silverado was traveling west on Oak Street when the Silverado failed to stop at a stop sign and traveled in front of the Blazer, causing a T-bone style collision.
The passenger, 71-year-old Elnora Winston, of the Silverado was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead on the scene.
Five other people involved in the crash were transported to a local hospital by multiple ambulances for non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Silverado, 34-year-old Daniel Russomano, was released from the hospital and arrested for reckless vehicular homicide and failing to stop at a stop sign.
The investigation is ongoing.
